The mission of Camp Teekna is “That I may know Christ” (Phil. 3:10). The purpose is to create a fun, challenging, and positive Christian camping experience which will lead campers to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Camp Teekna strives to develop real relationships with campers, their families, and the community. Campers and staff are given a platform to develop and use their unique gifts and talents.

Teekna comes from the Greek word Tekna. Tekna is translated to mean "child of" or "son of." This captures the mission of Camp Teekna -- to point campers to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
