About Our Junior Camp Staff

Sarah Allen"I am so excited to return to Camp Teekna this year! I have served at Camp Teeknafor 4 years, a portion of that time as Jr.Camp Director. We have so many exciting things planned for the children this summer. I think I may be more excited than the kids! Again, the third through fifth graders in our Jr. Camp (k-5) will have the opportunity to customize their week by specializing in drama, sports, art and wilderness. Well-trained counselors from each area will personally assist, coach, and direct campers. All Jr. campers will continue to enjoy a creative, carefully designed, and age appropriate program which includes swimming, archery, Bible study, games special trips and guest speakers. My favorite time is when we all come together for Prime Time to learn about God with fun skits and silly songs. I can’t wait to see you there!" Sarah Kallal - Jr. Camp Director, Grades K-5

Our dedicated and committed Jr. Camp Staff create an atmosphere in which campers can experience God's love through creative programming, excellent activities, and a safe environment. Our Jr. Camp Director and other administrative leaders are professional educators. Counselors and Instructors are college students who desire to work with young people as a vocation. Our Jr. Counselor positions are filled with High School Students with prior experience working with children. Only the best counselor applicants are hired. Consequently, many Jr. Counselors return in subsequent years as Counselors and Instructors. All camp staff members are dedicated Christians who seek to glorify God through their lives and actions.

 Teen Camp Director

Eric Madison"The inaugural summer of Teen Camp was a huge success! Throughout the summer, campers had the opportunity to hike, swim, bike, skate, ride horses, raft down a river, golf (miniature), rock climb, play laser tag and paintball, and see the Phillies play. And that is just a partial list. We had a blast! Based on camper input, we have planned another great summer full of exciting opportunities. Along with these great experiences of fun and good fellowship, we also took the time to develop spiritually. We had prime time discussions that truly helped the campers to understand what Christian service is. We also took trips to Manna, Amnion Crisis Pregnancy Center, and Adventure Island Camp to put into practice the things we were learning and discussing. Sign up for TeenCamp 2008! I look forward to seeing you this summer!" Eric Madison - Teen Camp Director, Grades 6-8
