How do you turn a staple into a light bulb? High school science teacher, Ross Gunderson, posed this question to students in his materials engineering class. The students' creative and collaborative thinking, coupled with a unique application of technology, placed them at the top of a national competition for high school science classes sponsored by the Venier Software Company. Their project took first prize, a $5,500 grant! Watch the Video
Members of the cast and crew of Thoroughly Modern Millie brought awareness to the issue of human trafficking, raising over $1,500 for International Justice Mission. Their efforts were an amazing example of faith in action that took the musical to another level. (Read more)
