Adult Fitness

Adult Fitness programs are designed to help parents and staff enjoy the benefits of the performance training staff and facility along with providing an opportunity to engage with other members of the DC community. The program was started in 2013 and has grown and developed over the years.

F.I.T. Club

F.I.T. stands for Forever In Training. F.I.T. is an adult group fitness class that uses an interval training concept to help both beginner and advanced participants get an excellent workout. The group meets 2 times a week at the upper campus gymnasium and is known for being a fun and exciting way to get into shape or workout with fellow DC community members.

Private / Semi-Private Training Sessions

Semi-private training takes a unique structure in which you work out in small groups (2-4 people), allowing you to maximize the benefit of your program and take full advantage of the training coach. Each workout is designed for your specific goals based on what we learn about your needs and goals from a fitness assessment session. This enables us to ensure the most efficient workout for YOU. Each semi-private training session is designed to increase your functional strength, reduce injuries, and boost your metabolism. This is the best fat burning workout!

Meet Fitness Instructor, Jami Walker

Jami Walker

Jami Walker graduated from Christian School of York in 1995. Jami was a 4 year letter winner in both basketball and track. Jami received a 4 year Physical Education/Health degree from Baptist Bible College. While at BBC, Jami continued her basketball career helping her team win conference championships in 1996 and 1998. Jami is passionate about fitness, personal training and inspiring others to take care of the incredible vessels God has entrusted to us. She has lived her passion both personally and professionally. Over the last 15 years, she has taught Physical Education, coached various sports at the middle school and high school level and also worked at Elizabethtown Fitness Club in Elizabethtown, PA. She loves to challenge herself through running, home workouts and has recently taken an interest in crossfit.

Currently Jami is the lead adult fitness instructor for F.I.T. Club and has several semi-private training clients. She also works with high school athletes to improve their strength, speed and agility as part of the performance training program. Jami is a certified Group Personal Fitness instructor, has her Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist certification through NASM and is a certified Beachbody coach.
