Elementary School

The Delaware County Christian School elementary campus comprises grades Pre-K through 5, and is located on 30 acres on South Waterloo Road in Devon, PA. With its current enrollment of approximately 300 students, the school's elementary division provides an exceptional Christ-centered academic program designed to meet the spiritual and academic needs of elementary students. The curriculum is designed to support the school's mission to educate students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.

There are approximately 25 faculty members serving at the elementary school with an average of 19 years of teaching experience. Most teachers have also completed a master's program in a related field of education. The average class size is approximately 20 students.

The school campus consists of complex of buildings including; administrative center, classroom building with specialized areas for music, worship, art, computer, and library. A gymnasium, cafeteria and various playgrounds and fields are also located on campus.

To enhance the learning environment, the school offers enrichment in the areas of art, music, physical education, world language, library and technology. Each year students participate in local and regional competitions in Math Olympics, Speech Meet and Writing.

The students at the elementary school are provided with many opportunities throughout the school year to participate in a variety of service projects and after school clubs including; newspaper, chess, junior naturalist, cooking, lego, soccer and basketball. DC offers full and half day kindergarten classes as well as five full-day, five half-day, and three full-day(Mon./Tues./Wed.) Pre-Kindergarten.
