Middle School
Excited, energetic, enthusiastic! These are some of the characteristics of the middle school student. Capitalizing on these traits, the dedicated, highly-qualified teaching staff of DC's Middle School appropriately challenges and encourages each student to discover the gifts God has given each one to use for His glory.
Located on the Malin Road campus, the middle school has its own classroom building and shares the art, music and physical education buildings with the high school. The middle school consists of approximately 210 students in grades 6-8. The majority of the 28 full-time and part-time faculty members have their master's degree.
The middle school is a bridge between the elementary and high school years. The program at DC endeavors to meet the unique opportunities of this special time in a student's life. Prospective students are encouraged to spend a day visiting the school with a previously scheduled appointment.
The students at the middle school are provided with many
opportunities throughout the school year to participate in a variety of
service projects. Click here to view our current outreach ministries.
