High School
In the high school division of Delaware County Christian School we seek to nurture our mission of "educating students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action" by challenging our students to grow intellectually, physically and spiritually. We combine an outstanding college prep curriculum, which includes nine AP courses, an award winning visual and performing arts program, and an athletic program that excels in league, district and state competitions. We believe this curriculum provides a comprehensive educational environment to enable each student to discover and to develop his or her talents in order to serve God wherever they may be called. In everything we do, we endeavor to help our students think with a biblical world view that will enable them to see the world as Christ does and then to act in a way that is motivated and guided by that world view.
In the high school, we seek to develop a strong sense of community among our students and faculty. Education at its best takes place in an environment where teachers and students are able to develop relationships of mutual respect and caring and these are hallmarks of the DC experience. Whether it is shared time on retreats, a conversation over lunch, or corporate prayer in the classroom, our students and faculty seek to support one another on the journey of becoming more like Christ in all that we do.
The students at the high school are provided with many
opportunities throughout the school year to participate in a variety of
service projects. Click here to view our current service projects.
