Visual Arts
Elementary
Students study concepts pertaining to the elements and principles of design. Students explore a variety of art mediums and how they were used in famous works of art. While studying the arts, students will develop an appreciation for and awareness of God's creation and the creativity which God has given man.
Middle School
This course is designed as a basic drawing and design class to introduce students to upper level concepts and allow them to experiment and develop the skills needed for mastery and appreciation. Since we worship God and He is the author of creativity, each lesson is designed to foster the creative spirit at every level and in every type of student. The curriculum is discipline-based and builds principle by principle from the 6th grade through the 8th grade.
