Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Parent volunteers play an important role at DC. There are many opportunities to serve within each division. Click on the links to the left to find more information about volunteer opportunities at DC.

Please note that DC requires background checks for volunteers. Volunteers who plan to serve on a regular basis, along with any parent chaperone that plans to go on an off-campus field trip, must have this clearance completed. Parents or other volunteers can initiate this process on their own (http://epatch.state.pa.us/Home.jsp) or submit a form to Julie Hegman in the Business Office. DC covers the cost of this action. A parent, college student, or visitor on campus for a breif, occasional visit does not require this background check. The Criminal Record Check form is available here for download.
