Purchase prepaid (gift) cards through DC's scrip program as a way to provide revenue to the school. Use your cards just as you use cash at your favorite retailer. You may designate to have DC share a portion of the revenue to be applied to the tuition account of a current school parent.
What is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". When you purchase scrip, you're purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for DC and your tuition.
How does Scrip generate revenue for me and our school?
The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other non-profit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. DC buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. The discount - from two to fifteen percent or more - is our organization's revenue.
What is ShopWithScrip.com?
ShopWithScrip.com is the online ordering system that DC uses to gather your scrip orders. This online site offers convenience so that you can order scrip from any internet-connected computer at home, school, or office.

Who can use ShopWithScrip?
Any family can use ShopWithScrip - however, to place orders, you have to create a free account at ShopWithScrip.com and identify yourself as a member of our organization with the enrollment code: 625F4CD4122L8.
How do I register with ShopWithScrip?
To register with ShopWithScrip, first open up your web browser, and go to www.shopwithscrip.com. To register a new account, go to the orange Member's Login box on the right side, and click "Not a member? - Click Here".
Follow the simple registration instructions and accept the terms and conditions of using the site.
The next screen you will see is called "join an organization". Before you can place an order, you must join our organization by entering DC's enrollment code: 625F4CD4122L8. By associating this code with you account, the ShopWithScrip system will associate your shopping activity with our non-profit organization.

How do I use ShopWithScrip?
You can manage your account through the Account Dashboard. To access your Dashboard, click on the fifth tab, "My Account", at the top of any page.
From here, you can check your account activity, change your profile and password, add, remove, and modify organizations you belong to and read coordinator and site announcements.
How do I order Scrip?
To order scrip, navigate to the order page by clicking "Shop" at the top of any page.
ShopWithScrip has hundreds of different retail brands, so the order page organizes products by category. Some categories may have several pages of selections. To find a product, jump to the appropriate section, or enter all or part of the retailer name in the search box. You can also download a complete list of all products as a handy reference.
Select items and quantities on the worksheet, and press the "add to cart" button to add them to your shopping cart. Click the "check out" button when you have completed your selections. Review your order, and press the "Check Out" button to submit your order.
Shopwithscip.com gives you two payment options: A) Presto-Pay (You must have already set up a Presto-Pay account which deducts your payment electronically from your checking account. For more information, see the Shopwithscrip.com home page.) or B) Check (Forward to your scrip coordinator). If you choose option B, DC will now accept Check or Credit Card payments. Click here to pay by credit card.
When you click "Confirm Your Order", you will see an "order confirmation page". Print this order confirmation page, and submit it with your payment (if paying by check). This order confirmation page will also give you the opportunity to tell us how you would like to receive your order--either to pick it up in the DC Business Office or have it sent home with your Elementary Student.

When will I receive my order?
Orders placed before 9:00 AM on Mondays with payment submitted either by Presto-Pay, check or credit card will be ready on Fridays. Users have the choice to pick up their order in the DC Business Office or have the order sent home with their Elementary Student.
