I grew up in Taiwan and got my BA in social work. After teaching for two years at a Girl's Christian high school in Taiwan, I came to US for graduate study for educational psychology in 1990. I have been teaching Mandarin ever since I came to US at various schools. Being a teacher was my childhood dream and I am so thankful that Lord led me to become one. Seeing students working hard to accomplish learning this not-so-easy language has been a great blessing and motivator.

I have a deep love for the nature, animals and green living. With two boys away in college now, I have more time exploring my interests in reading, exercising, hiking, volunteer work and traveling. I hope to be able to complete a marathon and join a 100-mile biking fundraising event at least once in my life. Another life-long dream is to be able to go to a remote area where teachers are scarce and people don't get many chances to hear the Gospel.
