Mrs. Justine Bellandi
I truly enjoy being a part of the DC community. It has been such a blessing to be able to encourage students' enthusiasm and curiosity for learning through the enrichment and STEM programs.
I feel that God used many of my past experiences to prepare me for this position. I spent the two years teaching math and science at the middle school level and I spent several summers teaching gifted students as a part of a summer program in Bryn Mawr. I love being able to share experiments and projects with my students that I remember being excited about as a child.
I keep my schedule full pursuing many hobbies outside of school. Participating in a tap class has been one of the more exciting parts of my week recently. My husband and I also enjoy playing board games almost weekly with friends, family, and our church community. These games are always planned with a meal and many good conversations. I am very passionate about my involvement at my church: from hosting a small group to the missions' committee to helping with Sunday school and the slides for the Sunday morning service.
My husband and I love to travel. Our trip to Norway was the trip of a lifetime. We visited many museums, palaces, and cities, but we also spent time hiking in the mountains and cruising through the fjords. We can't wait to take a new adventure and see other new places.
