2013

I grew up in central New Jersey attending a mixture of private and public school for my high school education. I came to DC fresh from graduating Grove City College with a B.A. in History and PA certification for Social Studies grades 7-12. Teaching is a calling. I love history and the complexity of the human spirit in different cultures and throughout the ages. Working with teenagers who are full of life and fun infuse my days with joy. This is a fulfilling and purposeful profession and I am so thankful to be here at DC where faith, intellect and relationships are integrated so naturally. My enthusiasm for life and energy to work with students enables our class to pursue knowledge and truth together. Asking the deeper questions about humanity and faith are essential in that pursuit of truth.

In my free time, I enjoy coffee, skiing, beach days and sailing. I love to travel and see different cultures, specifically what Christianity looks like in different cultures.
