Academic & College Counseling

The Academic & College Counseling Office exists to support students in their academic and future planning.

We offer a comprehensive program, providing practical instruction and extensive resources through every step of the high school and post-secondary planning experience. Advising is tailored to the unique desires, needs and concerns of each student and family situation.

DC not only prepared me for college with its rigorous academics but also ignited my passion for my career. My DC teachers instilled in me a desire to become an educator, and they taught me, by example, much about what it means to be a good teacher. My high school faculty advisor influenced my life, largely through time spent in conversation. She devoted time to knowing me as an individual, and I was educated, encouraged, challenged, and blessed by her mentorship throughout high school.
