Transportation

School districts provide busing for students who reside within *10 miles of Delaware County Christian School. The 23 local school districts described in the section below provide free bus transportation for students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 12 unless otherwise noted.

All busing requests must be made through Delaware County Christian School  BEFORE a student is eligible with their public school district. Once a student is enrolled at Delaware County Christian School, DC will send proof of enrollment to the school district. Once school districts receive this information the district is responsible for coordination and communication of bus routes and all issues related to busing.

Exton/Downingtown

DC runs a bus for students who live in the Exton area and surrounding communities. This morning and afternoon service will be offered free of charge to families living within the Downingtown, Coatesville, Twin Valley, Unionville and Owen J. Roberts School Districts.

This DC bus will offer a convenient pick up and drop off location at Marsh Creek Community Church near the intersection of Routes 100 and 113 in Exton. This route will drop off and pick at both DC campuses.

Families residing within the West Chester Area School District may opt to use either of DC’s bus services from West Chester or Exton for an annual fee.

Plymouth Meeting

DC also offers free morning only busing to the Plymouth Meeting/Fort Washington area and surrounding communities.This morning service is free of charge to families living within the Abington, Cheltenham, Wissahickon, Springfield ( Montgomery County), Upper Dublin, Hatboro Horsham, Jenkintown, Souderton, and areas outside busing districts to DC. The DC bus pick up location is centrally located at the Plymouth Meeting Mall every morning.

Delaware County Christian School does not have any formal car pools arrangements. However, the Admissions Office, parent coordinators or a neighboring parent might be able to help.
