AP Exam Review Sessions

AP Students - Register to attend review sessions for the AP Statistics, AP Chemistry, and AP US History exams.

Students from any school are invited to participate. The sessions will be led by DC faculty members who have a proven track record both as teachers and readers for the AP.

Register for one or more sessions. Each week will review a different aspect of the exam. The cost for each session is $15.00. Each review session is limited to 10 participants. If the demand exceeds 10, we will open an additional section on a different day for that week (see below).

AP Statistics

Meet your AP Statistics Review Instructor - Mr. Joel Kamm

Joel Kamm loves the challenge of mathematics and communicating excitement for mathematics to students. He has been teaching at Delaware County Christian School since 2006, and he began as a reader for the AP Statistics exam in 2012. He also serves as an AP teacher mentor for the National Math and Science Initiative in NYC. Currently, Joel is teaching AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, and other statistics courses at DC. He has been the VEX Robotics mentor at DC for more than 10 years and is DC's Mathematics Department Head.

AP Chemistry

Meet your AP Chemistry Review Instructor - Mr. Stephen Pulliam

Stephen Pulliam is a passionate educator inspiring and challenging students to reach their potential in the classroom and beyond. For nearly 25 years, he has been shaping the minds of his students in the sciences and other STEM classes. In 2003, he began teaching AP Chemistry, became an AP Reader in 2009, and a Table Leader in 2012. In 2015, Stephen piloted materials for the AP Insight Chemistry program and soon thereafter became a consultant conducting workshops across the country. Stephen also serves as a consultant for the National Math and Science Initiative, leading workshops and student study sessions nationwide. Currently Stephen is the Science Department Head for Delaware County Christian School, in addition to teaching AP and Honors Chemistry. He also serves as the assistant coach to varsity girls basketball and middle school baseball. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending downtime with his wife and children, and especially venturing off on fishing trips with his son.

AP United States History

Meet your AP US History Review Instructor - Mr. Matt Hummel

Matt Hummel is an engaging and energetic educator who has been teaching for seven years, the last five of which have been at Delaware County Christian School. He began teaching AP United States History in 2015 and became an AP Reader in 2018. In 2018, he was able to present at the Phi Alpha Theta Biennial Convention in New Orleans, a national history conference. His work focused on the events leading up to 9/11, specifically synthesizing events from the beginning of the Cold War to September 10, 2001. Currently he serves as the History Department Head for DC and has served in that capacity since 2018. In addition to AP US History, he also teaches all sections of 11th grade College Prep US History and Honors US History. Outside of the classroom, Matt serves as the head coach of the jv boys basketball team and the lead assistant for the varsity boys basketball team. He also served as the head coach of the varsity girls softball team from 2016-2018.
