Standout Season for Boys and Girls Varsity Track

DC’s Varsity Boys Track Team had a tremendous track season with eighteen student-athletes qualifying to compete in district competition. The team was led by Jason Shaw ‘22, CJ Simbiri ‘24, Joseph Cooper ‘22, and Kouassi Toukou ‘22 (who now holds the new school record for discus). The boys finished third overall in the district meet.
Our girls team is the District 1 Girls Track and Field Champions. The Lady Knights ended a near perfect season, having gone undefeated in the regular BAL season and also winning the BAL Championship. Sahdahya Addy ‘22, Ella Hines ‘22 and Evezi Omuyeh ‘23 won four, three and two gold medals respectively in the District Championship. Two of the girls set school records in their district efforts: Evezi reset her own school record in the discus, and Sahdahya broke two long standing DC school records in the long jump and triple jump. Congratulations ladies on an incredible season. For more details, please enjoy the following article: PA PrepLive: Dynamic Delco Christian
