We all have stories of the way that God used Delaware County Christian School to impact our lives for the better. As you think about those stories, please consider giving to DC on March 20th in order to ensure that DC can continue impacting students lives in a meaningful way to the glory of God.

Our goal is to have 150 new alumni donors, so if you have not given to DC yet this fiscal year please make a donation on March 20th, because your gift will go farther thanks to the following challenge gifts:

  • The first 25 donors unlocks $5,000
  • Reaching 75 donors unlocks an additional $5,000
  • Reaching 125 donors unlocks an additional $5,000
  • Reaching 150 donors unlocks an additional $10,000!

Gifts of any size have a BIG impact! Gifts can be as small as $20. Participation is the key. Please encourage your alumni friends and family to give, too! Thank you for sharing in the DC story!

Alumnus of the Year

Congratulations to the 2018 Alumnus of the Year, Jonathan Norquist! Jon graduated from DC in 1999 and went on to attend West Point where he competed on the triathlon team. He completed two tours of duty before retiring from the military. He now works for the Army Corp of Engineers as a civilian. In 2016 he earned a national distinction for his service with the Army Corp of Engineers.

Jon is also a talented artist. His medium is spilled coffee (see here). He has been featured in the local news in the Seattle area for his artwork.

Jon and his wife, Kristy (also a West Point graduate) have five children ranging in ages from 10 to 6 months old. For many years they ran a college Bible study out of their home. Jon was quite active with YoungLife and served as a Youth Pastor for a while. More recently Jon has tutored countless children at the Rescue Mission in Tacoma. He often brings his daughter with him so that they can serve together. Jon and his wife and great examples of living faithfully for Jesus and loving others as they do so.

Jon and two of his children will be visiting DC in early April to speak with students and faculty, and to attend the Annual Fund Dinner and Auction (more details below).

Annual Fund Dinner & Auction

The Annual Fund Dinner and Auction will be held on Saturday, April 7th. Join us as we honor the 2018 Alumnus of the Year, Jonathan Norquist (99) and celebrate God's provision of another successful Annual Fund! You may RSVP at
