We all have stories of the way that God used Delaware County Christian School to impact our lives. As you think about those stories, please consider giving to DC during our Alumni Give Week, March 18-21. Your participation will help ensure that DC can raise up the next generation of students to impact the world for Christ.

Our goal is to have 150 new alumni donors, so if you have not given to DC yet this fiscal year please make a donation during the week of March 18-21.

Your gift this week will go farther thanks to the following challenge gifts:

  • The first 25 donors unlocks $5,000
  • Reaching 75 donors unlocks an additional $5,000
  • Reaching 100 donors unlocks an additional $5,000
  • Reaching 150 donors unlocks an additional $10,000!

Gifts of any size have a BIG impact! Gifts can be as small as $20. Participation is the key. Please encourage your alumni friends and family to give, too! Thank you for partnering with us in this ministry to the next generation of DC students.

Gifts can be made online at dccs.org/give

Alumnus of the Year

Congratulations to the 2019 Alumnus of the Year, Rachel (Hepkins) Thompson

A graduate of DC's Class of 2004, Rachel's professional journey began with a degree in Spanish Business from Messiah College and a graduate degree from Liberty University School of Law. During her schooling Rachel visited, studied, or lived in Jamaica, South Africa, Ecuador, Spain, Argentina and the Dominican Republic, an experience that showed her early on that she was called to immigration practice. Rachel has been with the Poarch Law firm since graduating from Liberty. In addition to her work as an immigration and adoption lawyer, Rachel serves as Adjunct Professor at Liberty University School of Law teaching Adoption Law.

Rachel is busy on the home front as well. She and her husband Brad have three sons ages 5, 3 and 1 and live in Salem, Virginia. Between work, family, and being active in her church, Rachel is living DC's mission to serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.

Rachel will be visiting DC on April 12 to speak with students and faculty, and to attend the Annual Fund Dinner and Auction (more details below).
