Alumni Give Day 2020 Save the Date-March 12th ![]() On March 12th we're asking you to show your support as DC alumni with a financial gift. Your contributions impact our school in many ways, from continued support for the mission of DC to showing the world that our alumni are behind us.
We need 177 new alumni donors to reach our goal of 10% of our community that give financially to DC. Every gift makes a big difference so please plan to join us however you can.
Interested in helping with Alumni Give Day? Let me know as there's many ways for you to pitch in. Get in touch with your classmates and ask them to participate, spread the word on your own social media accounts, and share our DC Alumni posts found at Facebook @alumniatdc and Instagram dc_alumni. We have a lot of fun things planned to share with you during the week of March 9-12 so check back daily.
Don't miss out on the fun - use our Alumni Update form to make sure we have your current contact information.
Thanks for your support!

Calling All Alumni Parents We recently heard from a group of Alumni Parents from the Class of 2019. This group has been meeting monthly to pray for the class since the 7th grade and they continue to do so today. Parents gathered in January to prepare care packages for their graduates and to write notes of encouragement.
Stay tuned for more Alumni Parent specific communications. Have an idea of how alumni parents from your student's class can partner with the Alumni Office and help us stay connected with you? Email us at alumni@dccs.org. And remember to keep DC in your prayers! ![]() ![]()
Three Cheers for our Alumni!!! ![]() Our alumni help out in many ways at DC including training up the next generation of DC's cheer squad. Tara Phillips Eisenhart '06 led our Middle School team to a 1st place win last month at the Garnet Valley Cheer Challenge competition, with the help of alumni coaches Angela Kolowitz Payson '00 and Catherine Barbee '07. For many on the squad this is their first experience cheering. This victory proves how hard the girls worked and that we've got some pretty amazing coaches. Take a look at the video. Love the high five to start things off! Thanks to Middle School Spanish teacher Senora Collins for coaching too.
Girl's Lacrosse Coaches Needed ![]() Do you have experience playing lacrosse? Or perhaps just a willing spirit and heart for girl's athletics? Our Spring Sports season begins on March 2nd and we are in need of candidates to fill head coaching positions in Upper and Middle School Girl's Lacrosse. These are paid positions. More information is available HERE. Know a fellow alumnus who might be right for the job? Share your recommendation with us.
Where Are You, Class of '82? Reunion organizers are already at work planning a 40th reunion celebration for the Class of 1982. We need updated contacts for a number of people from this class. Use this link to our update form to share your information, www.dccs.org/alumni/alumni-update-form. Please help by spreading the word to those from your class that you are in touch with. Interested in more information or in helping with this reunion? Email us at alumni@dccs.org.
Head of School Message We want to stay better connected to our alumni community and keep them in the know with DC today. As part of this effort we will be sharing Dan Steinfield's Head of School messages in our monthly newsletter to alumni and alumni parents. These Head of School letters go out once or twice a month. Here are links to the two most recent, bit.ly/DCHoSJan10; bit.ly/DCHoSJan31
Thanks Class of 2019 alumni parents for the suggestion!
