Food Services

DC’s food services are outsourced to Nutrition Management, who will prepare meals for lunch and special events on both campuses from the Student Union dining hall located on the Upper Campus.

Early Childhood Center & Lower School

The ECC/LS food services program allows families to preorder specific meals from our food service kitchen located at the Upper Campus in the Student Union. Lower campus meals will be prepared per preordering requests and delivered fresh daily.

The menu will be posted monthly, and parents may preorder one week or one month at a time on FACTS Family Online. To view the monthly menu, please login to FACTS Family Online and click on the Lunch Link under Student Information. Parents will then create a web order. Weekly orders need to be submitted by the end of the day on the Wednesday of the previous week.

The daily meal includes a side. Each day will have an alternate entree option. All lower campus meals are served with a choice of a cookie or fruit, and a beverage (milk, chocolate milk, or water). Beverages may be purchased separately. Grades PK2-2nd will receive smaller portions and the charge per meal will be $4.50. Grades 3rd-5th will receive larger portions and the charge per meal will be $6.50.

For questions on the menu, contact Nutrition Management at dccsdining@nmsc.com.

Student Union - Middle & Upper Schools

The dining hall, located in the Student Union on the Upper Campus, is open to all Middle and Upper School students to purchase lunch every day.

The daily hot meal includes a side. In addition, diners will have a choice of à la carte lunch options such as fresh fruit cups, hummus & vegetable cups, soup-of-the day, and wraps. Students and employees can also enjoy selections from a salad and yogurt bar, a grill station (chicken tenders, burgers, steak sandwiches, fries/ tater tots), and an action station where there will be a rotation of Asian stir fry, pasta, and pizza. To view the monthly meal menu, please login to FACTS Family Online and click on the Lunch Link under Student Information.

An assortment of beverages, breakfast and bakery items, individual sides, and snack items are available throughout the day. Breakfast items will be available for Upper School students in the morning. Students may also purchase food and beverages during DC Time and PRT times, and at the end of the day.

Payment

The DC Dining Services operates as a cashless system. All parents should deposit funds for your students' lunches using a new payment processor (MyPaymentsPlus). As students purchase meals, charges will be applied to the funds that were deposited. Upper campus student charges will be applied as they go through the line. Lower campus student charges will be applied each day they receive the preordered meals.
