The new DC Student Union is on target to be completed at the Upper Campus later this Spring. Construction began in September with the demolition of the old Upper Gym and its back wall. This was followed by the installation of custom beams that hold up the upper mezzanine level, and breaking through the west-facing wall of the building where large windows and glass doors will be installed to provide ample natural lighting and expansive views overlooking DC’s athletic fields.

The mezzanine level that wraps around the main dining area has now been installed and the staircase and railings are in place. Walls have been framed out, drywall installed, and ready to be painted. This new facility will surely bless future generations of DC students and provide a space for events, community building, dynamic learning, and creative collaborations.
