Congratulations to DC's Class of 2023!
Delaware County Christian School celebrated its 66th Commencement on June 2nd, with a memorable ceremony that began on our turf field and due to thunder and rain in the area, finished in The DeMoss Auditorium. Family, friends, and DC Faculty and Staff were in attendance to honor and celebrate the Class of 2023. Dr. David A. King, retired President of Malone University, and husband of Winnie Lowrie King ’73 gave the commencement address, charging our graduates to stay close to God, stay at the table, and be available as a precious metal for God’s purpose of restoration and reconciliation.
The Class of 2023 chose Romans 5:3-5 as their class verse: 3 “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."
Join us in praying for the Class of 2023, as they live out the DC mission to serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.
