DC Theatre Brings Home Three Cappie Awards, Including Best Lead Actor
2023 Cappie Winners

After being nominated for 10 Cappies, the cast and crew of DC’s Spring Musical, Fiddler on the Roof, took home three Cappie awards at the end-of-year Cappies Gala on Sunday, May 21. “Fiddler on the Roof has long been a beloved musical. Its iconic music, witty dialogue, and relatable family struggles all combine to make it a classic that audiences have loved since it opened in 1964,” notes Lori French. "I'm really proud of the whole cast and crew. They've worked hard and grown so much this season.  It was beautiful to see the way they all supported each other through The Cappies Awards. You could tell that each trophy not only represented that individual's accomplishments, but also a whole team of people working together to give it their best!"
