VEX Robotics Tournaments

The annual DC Knights VEX Robotics Tournament for high school students will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023.  Thirty-six high school teams will converge on DC's Upper Campus for the event which qualifies teams for the Eastern PA State Championships in March. Teams will show off their STEM skills and compete in the fast paced Spin Up game designed to engage students in problem solving, creativity, and collaboration.

DC will also be hosting the Middle School VEX IQ Knight's Qualifier Robotics Tournament on February 11th that will bring together twenty-four local teams. DC Middle School sent a team to compete alongside teams from over 40 countries around the world at the VEX Robotics World Championship last year, and they hope to repeat the same success this year.

Both events will take place in DC’s Upper Campus gymnasium located at 462 Malin Road in Newtown Square, PA. Doors open at 7:30am, and robot inspections begin at 8:00am; the competition’s first qualification match kicks off at 9:30am. The day will conclude with elimination matches and awards wrapping up around 4:30pm.

Come support our teams and cheer them on! Admission is free for these events. Concessions will be available throughout the day in the Student Union.
