Join us for a performance and gallery event celebrating women in today’s art world with guest speaker Michaelanne Helms.

This event will highlight amazing female artists from the broader DC community, including students, alumni, teachers, and professionals across artistic mediums. Vocal performances will include Jordan Thompson, Lilly Fischer, Emily Chung, and Laurel Soffer. Dance performances will feature Cassandra Stinger and Glorify Performing Arts. The art exhibit will include featured artists, Rebekah Halladay, Jeannie Leaman, and Rose Favino, among many others. 
 
Guest speaker Michaelanne will be discussing the Power of Art in Community Building. Michaelanne is a skilled visual artist who uses her gifts to teach and build community based on her firm conviction that everyone belongs at the table. Throughout her career, Michaelanne has used art to provide a space and voice to strengthen intergenerational communities as well as support families impacted by incarceration.
