DC students continue to excel in the area of visual arts. With a sequential curriculum that spans Pre-K to twelfth grade, students explore and develop skills in a wide variety of mediums.
Additional opportunities for upper school students to engage with art are offered through Wednesday SAIL (Schools for Applied and Integrated Learning) classes. Through this program, students are afforded opportunities to learn: digital and black and white photography, digital printmaking, easel painting, found objects metal sculpture, and graphic design.
Dedicated art shows highlighting students’ work throughout the year take place on DC Campuses each spring.
