The Next Generation Campaign is a historic, comprehensive fundraising effort designed to secure the future of DC for generations to come. This campaign focuses on enhancing our campus, advancing innovative programs, and ensuring that every student continues to benefit from an exemplary Christian education rooted in excellence and faith.

Our goal is to raise $32 million through the united participation of our entire community. This campaign represents a shared commitment to invest in our students, our mission, and the future of DC.

A comprehensive campaign encompasses all philanthropic giving to the school during the campaign period. This includes gifts to the Fund for DC and to our capital initiatives. Together, these gifts contribute to achieving our overall $32 million goal.

As of March 31, 2026, the campaign is closing in on raising $17 million, bringing us closer to our historic goal.

Yes. We are committed to keeping our community informed throughout the entire process. Updates will be shared through the campaign website as well as through DC Connect, Alumni News, and our social media channels.

The public phase of the campaign launched on October 17, 2025, and is anticipated to span up to three years. Updates will be provided as we reach key milestones. As funds are pledged and received, campaign projects will move forward in alignment with our strategic priorities.

This is the most ambitious and comprehensive campaign in the school’s history. It is focused on transforming our facilities and programs to meet the needs of today’s students, and those of 2030 and beyond.

Key initiatives include:

• Construction of a new Center for Innovation and The Arts
• Renovation to the DeMoss Center for Worship and The Arts
• Additional classrooms on the Upper Campus
• Renovated locker rooms on the Upper Campus
• Updated entryway to the Upper Campus that provides safety and security for our students and guests.
• An upgraded Lower Campus gymnasium with performance space
• A three-season pavilion for outdoor learning and community gatherings

In addition, the campaign strengthens the Fund for DC, which supports our programs, faculty, and students. This effort invites every member of our community to make a lasting impact on the life of the school.

The Upper Campus courtyard renovation is scheduled as one of the final projects of the campaign. Bricks will be installed in the final phase of the courtyard renovation.
