Other Information

I cannot remember a time that I did not love to read and my favorite books are still some of the childhood classics – Anne of Green Gables, Pollyanna, and the Little House on the Prairie books. Historical fiction, mysteries and biographies are my favorite genres now. Working in the library provides a great way to share my love of reading and learning with both Middle and High school students. During my time at DC, I have also enjoyed following the sports teams and coached softball for a time. Keeping score at basketball games has also allowed me to interact with students in a different element. I grew up in Baltimore and I still follow my favorite sports teams – the Orioles and Ravens. My family has also taken several trips to Bangladesh over the years where we have worked in schools and hospitals there.

Some of my hobbies include photography and scrapbooking. I do not have a favorite book, but my favorite authors include Agatha Christie, Francine Rivers, Jane Austen, and Susan Meissner.
