The Office of Student Life
The Office of Student Life at Delaware County Christian School exists to advance the school’s mission by enhancing the curriculum and promoting community life through extra-curricular events and programs. While the Office of Student Life oversees many different events and programs, they can all be categorized under one of three headings: Community, Servanthood, and Leadership.
The Office of Student Life seeks to promote partnership, collaboration, and close personal relationships within the DC community through various events like the Renewing the Mind Seminar, Homecoming, Fall Fest, Manly Mornings, and the Advent Devotional.
A number of events are aimed at teaching students to become servant-leaders who are able to perceive needs around them and work to meet these needs in a positive and God-glorifying way. These events include, but are not limited to the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Bus Driver Breakfast, visits to local nursing homes, Bible Club, child sponsorships, and the HS Service Project.
In order to prepare students to impact the world through biblical thought and action the Office of Student Life seeks to develop and hone students’ leadership skills through leadership training seminars and the Student Government.
The Office of Student Life is represented in each of the divisions by the following faculty and staff:
Kevin McIntyre – Lower School Student Life Coordinator
Chad Fenley – Middle School Student Life Coordinator
Ronald Hoch – Upper School Student Life Coordinator and Director of Student Life
Nancy Homan – Student Life Administrative Assistant
