Lower School Library

Welcome to the Lower School Library Page!

The DC Lower School library is a bright and cheerful space equipped with more than 14,000 volumes and a computer lab to assist in classroom projects and technology instruction. Mrs. Lee and many wonderful parent volunteers stand ready to assist students in finding the latest must-read book or providing direction for a research project. Come visit us!

The Library web page provides information for parents and students. It should be used as a resource to guide you as you search for information for a project or want to choose a good book. Library policies and procedures can be found under the parent information tab.

Accelerated Reader (AR)

Accelerated Reader provides two helpful websites for parents and students. Use the following links to locate the tools to help you answer some common questions and navigate the world of AR quizzing.

How do I find out if a book I want to read has an AR quiz?

https://www.arbookfind.com/

Can I check to see what books I have already read and quizzed on? How did I do on my quizzes?

This information can be accessed from home using the following link. A student's AR username and password are necessary for this site.
