Meet Our Staff

The Staff of DC Summer Programs is made up of highly motivated, responsible, creative and spiritually mature men and women of differing ages and backgrounds. The hiring process is handled with much consideration and prayer so we are confident that those who are here will do the best job possible serving our camp families.

Administrative Staff

The DCSP administrative staff members are committed to providing a quality camp experience behind the scenes. Kevin McIntyre, Director of Summer Programs, and Sarah Turner, Summer Office Manager, have each been serving on staff for eight years and Administrative Assistant, Nancy Homan, has been on staff since camp began in 2001. Each of these individuals have established great relationships with all camp families and are ready to welcome more in that same way. If you need anything, they are here to help and make sure that parents feel equally as known and cared for as our campers.

Senior Staff

Senior staff members include our Program Director, Art Director, Spiritual Life Director, Head Counselor and other staff who are responsible for specific areas of the camp program. These highly devoted and specialized members of our team are the ones who are planning new activities throughout the summer and are in charge of the daily run of the program. Senior staff members range from college students to professional teachers and all have unique specialties to contribute.

Counseling Staff

Counselors at DCSP are highly trained and have a heart for service and caring for campers, individually and corporately. Many were campers themselves, went through our leadership training program and now serve on staff. Counselors are a minimum of 16 years of age and range from high school juniors to college seniors, creating an environment that encourages growth and consistency in leadership.

Support Staff

Our camp nurse, lifeguards, photographers and bus drivers make camp possible through their individual efforts on a daily basis.
